- DETAIL 04/2024
After reaching the highest point of the Pogusch pass in Styria, the traditional local greeting appears in large letters along the facade of a timber barn, inviting guests for an overnight stay. Upon entering, the traditional tavern with its 146 seats reveals a surprisingly airy and fresh character. A diversified gastronomic landscape with different atmospheres and lighting moods unfolds before visitors, a melange of mountaineering robustness and cosmopolitan elegance. The 20 unconventional guest beds are distributed across compact sleeping cabanas arranged between planting troughs in the sparsely heated, large glass house. Few guests actually arrive out of the blue. The “Styrian Corner” ranks high in top international gastronomy.
