A Life Dedicated to Pneumatic Architecture

From exhibition spaces to a temporary shopping mall and
even refugee centres: there is hardly a use that Hans-Walter
Müller has not considered for his extraordinary pneumatic
spaces, or “ gonflable” as he refers to them. Born in Worms,
Germany, in 1935, the architect, engineer, and artist has worked with pneumatic volumes since 1968. His first air-filled structures were for the art and theatre scene and later for companies.
