Adaptive skins and structures help save resources and reduce the building industry’s climate-damaging emissions. These elements can be experimentally tested on Demonstrator D1244 at the University of Stuttgart. Dramatic increases in global population, climate-damaging emissions and consumption of water and resources present a growing challenge to everyone on earth. Construction is no exception but offers important answers to these problems.
