This building, housing part of the city council's administrative offices, is situated on an exposed site by the Seine, opposite the Pont d'Austerlitz and the Jardin des Plantes. The narrow pavement allowed little space for a projecting entrance, therefore a concave curve in the facade was proposed; this solution created 140m² of forecourt area whose shape guides the visitor smoothly to the actual entrance.
