The clinic provides facilities for treating large and small animals and, in addition, offers staff accommodation. Particular attention was paid to cost-efficiency and also to protection measures due to the proximity to a ruined 16th century mill. The clinic, like the mill, has a U-shaped ground plan, the three parts of the building complex having separate functions. In the west block, a two-floor wooden structure houses treatment rooms for small animals on the ground floor, with 3 staff apartments above. Access to the apartments is via an outside staircase and corridor.
