Located at the heart of London, Bonhams auction house consists partly of listed building fabric. In 2013, the complex was adapted to meet present-day needs. The new entrance is located in a narrow historic building that, after being gutted, now forms an 18-metre-high atrium.

A low passageway with a glazed roof leads to the reception area, which gives on to the 235 m² main auction room. This and two further auction spaces are in a new structure at the centre of the complex. The terracotta sunshading strips of this tract echo the front face of the historic building.
