This notion of an image of a bank deviates entirely from mediocre and received ideas. For it was unusual suggesting to the client to convert the complete ensemble of a typically Upper Franconian farmstead, consisting of a 300-year-old farmhouse with a barn at an angle to it, an adjoining stable and a service yard into the branch office of the Raiffeisen Bank (F. W. Raiffeisen founded this type of bank). The neighbouring building complex in the east was included in the purchase and incorporated into the design.
