With her projects in Bangladesh, Marina Tabassum supports those particularly affected by climate change. In this interview, the architect from Dhaka describes the challenges she faces. Much of Bangladesh is below sea level, and the water is rising. The increase in severe flooding caused by climate change has wreaked havoc in parts of the country. An estimated 7.2 million people were affected in 2022 alone. What can architecture do to counter this growing threat?
