The materials adopted (glass and steel) make the entrance hall of the station into a figurative unit, a unity that extends from the entrance hall itself to the planned cantilever roofs, whose lightness and transparency makes them stand out as object in the station square. With the old entrance to the station they form a triptych that outlines the central area of the station square. This is emphasized by a degree of formal affinity, in the shape of an arch, that embraces the entire structures in a single gesture.
