Stockholm-based firm Guise was, together with sister company UNI, both designer and manufacturer of the new Mouli Concept store. The fit-out was completed in just four weeks and the variety of forms and materials used was reduced to a bare minimum.
The space is composed of white painted walls, bright floors and room dividers made of white powder-coated steel — flattened steel panels with naked fluorescent tube lights suspended on their backsides. This backlighting dissolves the metal surfaces and gives the space a subtle depth and layering while emphasising the store’s vertical lines.
