The old administration block and new buildling of this college complex are situated on a neck of land between a canal and a river. Wood and granite on the outside of the new building are left untreated to bring out the surface quality of the materials. The exhibition hall with its clearly defined walls, doors, columns, joists and stairs links new and old blocks. Exhibition space for diploma work is in the hall resting on a solid granite plinth at the western end of the curved workshop tract. Generously proportioned, each workshop has a gallery which also provides access to the other rooms.
