To accomodate the objectives of bringing light and transparency into a backyardshop, of creating new interesting spaces as well as solving the technical and organizational problems involved with a cramped site, which did not permit the installation of site facilities or cranes, posed considerable problems. The solution that could accommodate all these functions, requirements and activities was the use of a prefabricated steel construction, which could be assembled relatively quickly in-place. In this way, the upper storeys were erected from a helicopter in two 1 1/2 hour actions.
