With its 1230 m2 of floor space, the cultural centre Pierre Blanches to the west of Nantes exceeds the scale of the small town of Saint-Jean-de-Boiseau. This is why the architects assigned each function to an individual, small building volume. They join the parts of this conglomerate together by use of uniform geometries and light coloured brick facades with a monolithic appeal.
