The natural materials loam and wood define the appearance of the daycare centre in the courtyard of the Palais de l’Alma. The historic ensemble dating from the 19th century is in the immediate vicinity of tourist hotspots such as the Musée du Quai Branly or the Eiffel Tower. Today, it serves purposes of the office of the president of the French Republic. For the children of the staff members, Atelier Régis Roudil developed an introverted refuge that wards off the restless city and is oriented towards a garden lined with trees.
