For 16 years Lava, Laboratory of Visionary Architecture, have planned and built projects in the Middle East, including the German Expo Pavilion in Dubai, parts of the future city Neom, and the masterplan for the Expo 2030 in Riyadh. We spoke with managing partner Alexander Rieck why the Innovation Tower was honoured with the 2024 King Salman Architectural Award.
