Measuring 150m x 100 m, this enormous sports hall on the outskirts of Barcelona, can accommodate 12,000 spectators. Major basketball competitions are held here and the hall will be used during the 1992 Olympic Games. The trussed roof construction over the arena is of hollow steel girders with rectangular cross section profile.
