Bent Flyvbjerg from Denmark studied economic and urban geography, urban planning and engineering science. He teaches major programme management at the Saïd Business School of Oxford University, where he is also conducting research into the failure of megaprojects. Flyvbjerg is the author of numerous books and advises governments and business undertakings on large-scale infrastructure, information technology and construction projects.
