Summer House in Denmark

With its timber post-and-beam structure, the present reconstruction outwardly resembles the model on which it was based – a timber log house from the year 1905.
The Tibirke Hills nature reserve, some 60 kilometres north of Copenhagen, is characterized by its sand dunes and moraine landscape covered with pine trees and heather. At the beginning of the 20th century, this magical region attracted many artists and authors who wished to build summer houses there, and these were often designed by famous Danish architects of the time.
