In the future, building as we know it will reach its limits. Primary raw building materials are becoming scarce worldwide, and new landfills for the disposal of demolition waste are seldom approved any more. The result is steep increases in costs over a building's entire life cycle - unless it follows new planning parameters with recyclability figured into the equation.
