Despite its strict axial symmetry, this football stadium in Belarus, with roughly 13,000 seats and 1,500 parking spaces, has a free biomorphic form. Its aluminium-shingle face is enlivened by openings of various shapes filled with perforated aluminium sheeting.

The peripheral promenade between the external skin and the spectators’ stands is thus naturally ventilated and protected against the weather. The outer skin of sheet aluminium and steel beams is borne by the four-storey grandstand structure of reinforced concrete columns and prestressed concrete slabs.

Digital tools like SketchUp and 3ds Max facilitated the planning of the curved lines, though two-dimensional work plans were used for the implementation.
