Wavy fabric curtains define the interior of the church of Santa
Maria Goretti. They filter daylight and mirror the organic
shape of the building. For the new religious centre at the
northern fringe of the southern Italian city of Mormanno, the
Diocese of Cassano all'Ionio advertised a competition. The
team of Mario Cucinella Architects submitted the winning entry.
