The new biology building of the university serves four institutes which make research into the fields of both experimental and naturalistic biology. The first stage of construction of the hothouse research facility that will considerably augment the biology building, includes three hothouses for soil culture and two hothouses for pot culture together with preparatory rooms, two aviaries with an observation room, a room for the study of the behaviour of small animals and staff rooms.
