Over a width of only 4 m and a length of 15 m, H Arquitectes have redesigned a house for five people with a minimal circulation area and great domestic comfort. One important change to the existing structure was to lay out the formerly dark ground floor more amply and make it brighter by setting the new, galvanized, trapezoidal-section composite floor a metre higher than the original timber beam construction.
