Spectacular architecture can be striking even if not immediately apparent. The complex renovation and expansion of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp (KMSKA) by Kaan Architecten demonstrates this fact. Kaan Architecten rejuvenated the museum in an impressive way. Viewed from the streetscape, the result is invisible, yet all the more palpable on the inside. Visitors can experience this in the form of an extraordinary dialogue between old and new.
