The architect team led by Davis Brody Bond and Kieran Timberlake created a university building that literally forms a vertical campus. The complex structure offers users 68 000 m2 of area. Located in Greenwich Village, it serves as the gateway to the New York University (NYU) campus. The building houses numerous functions and comprises facilities for sports. It is also home to the world famous Tisch School of the Arts and Steinhardt School, including their theatre, studio, workshop and rehearsal spaces. The building acts as a centre for the entire campus community and offers rooms for teaching, working and assembly in all sizes.
