In this park-like terrain, the kindergarden, a wood skeleton pavilion with hexagonal ground plan was built in close neighbourhood to an already existing kindergarden. At its apex, the amply protruding roof of the wooden house ends in a roof lantern, the windows of which provide fine ventilation. The building conveys the impression of a huge tent with the kindergarden spreading sheltered underneath. The guiding principle was to build for children not childlike, but designed to the needs of children.
