The architect team of the Paris based office Antonio Virga Architecte required only few interventions in order to provide the Centre de la Petite Enfance Marie Marvingt with a completely new appearance. The facility for early childhood education includes a daycare centre and a preschool. It is located in Issyles- Moulineaux, southwest of Paris, only about 7 km from the urban centre. The architects simplified the floor plans and facades of the heterogeneous and dilapidated conglomerate created in 1993. In certain areas, they removed redundant elements and added play areas in the interiors and exteriors.
