The location could hardly be any more impressive: Loft M is located in a former customs hall of the now defunct Rheinauhafen harbour of Cologne’s Altstadt-Süd quarter and features spectacular views of the impressive river scenery. In 2010 Molestina Architekten already added two recessed floors to the building. Since then it has offered room for commercial areas on the ground floor and multi-level upstairs apartments facing the riverfront. One of the apartments was completely redesigned for a young family by the Cologne-based office DIIIP.
