These four temporary exhibition pavilions were erected in the middle of a village pond as model rooms that show the way young people live today. Designed and erected over a period of six months, the pavilions were to be economical, quickly built and reusable. Each of the?curved cubic forms comprises two rented containers and is 5 x 6 m on plan. The outer walls and the roof consist of a supporting structure of plywood ribs cut to a convex curved form and covered with white horizontal and coloured diagonal wood slats of different widths. The foundations were formed by plastic sacks filled with green concrete. These accommodate themselves to the uneven bed of the pond and can be removed without trace after the exhibition.
