A medical centre in the desert climate of Kuwait calls for a careful daylight concept. The present low-height complex occupies the entire site and contains courtyards of various shapes set mainly next to the external facade.
These allow daylight to penetrate into the depths of all 12 departments. Perforated aluminium screens close the courtyards on the outside, protecting the centre from direct insolation.
