This mobile showroom serves for a kitchen appliance manufacturer’s worldwide product presentations. It is based on a patented construction system for a self-supporting spatial cell with curtain wall facade created by Rainer Huxel and developed further in collaboration with Jürke Architekten. Additional variants are planned for the future, e.g. with thermally separated facade, vacuum insulation, or solar panels. The rectangular pavilion is structured into two terrace elements and three prefabricated modules assembled in a workshop. It features glass facade, kitchen elements, and installations. Thus, high precision in manufacturing becomes independent from local production circumstances. A central energy module connects the two exhibition rooms and provides climate control and electricity, water, and drainage.
