An inverted, mirror-finished shallow pyramid forms the roof of the recently completed structures over the entrances to the Brescia metro, which opened five years ago. The glazed, flat cuboids provide protection from the weather, improve the safety of the staircases and reduce the maintenance costs of the escalators at some stations.
