This Victorian terraced house in north London is home to a
colour consultant and her husband. As the client works
from home, she wanted to have a north-lit space that was
sufficiently large. Her old studio faced south, to the street,
which was not suitable because the direct sunlight and the
shadows it cast changed colours considerably. Her new
workspace was therefore to face north, but also needed to
have plenty of light.
