Swimming in the Seine, volleyball under the Eiffel Tower, horse riding at the Palace of Versailles, basketball at Place de la Concorde, and fencing at the Grand Palais: Paris decided not to build new stadiums. Instead, with the Grand Paris Express transport network and the Olympic Village, it aims to future-proof the City of Love beyond the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
