For the new headquarters of the oat milk producer Oatly in the harbour of Malmö, Kjellander Sjöberg created an impressive structure by combining reused structural elements and plenty of wood. Malmö’s harbour has transformed over the last 20 years. Many of the once-industrial sites have given way to new residential, office, and university quarters. The old Kockums shipyard, which is close to the city centre and was inaccessible to the public, long hindered efforts to link downtown with new development areas along the harbour.
