For a series of standard postal buildings for small and mediumsized towns in Sweden, three diverse localities were selected for the initial projects: Köpmanholm, a ferry pier on the island of Yxlan in the rocky inlets; Sollebrunn, a centrally situated rural village at a cross-roads with an old postal tradition, and Kvissleby, a suburb of Sundsvall in a onetime sawmill district. The building types in turn feature three different sizes of about 200, 300 and 400 square metres.
