For their 125th anniversary, the Swiss energy provider Primeo aimed at creating a building comprised of 70 % recycled and reused materials in order to complement the company’s own electricity museum. The architectural and general planning office Rapp also renovated the existing neighbouring building from 1932, which formerly housed a meter workshop. The new and the old structures together constitute the Primeo Energy Cosmos. A stand-alone building among other stand-alone buildings, it is the capstone to the company site in Münchenstein, southeast of Basel.
