- DETAIL 09/2020
On a former German Railways goods station in Basle, the Habitat Housing Foundation has developed a heterogeneous new building district that is also meant to afford living space to underprivileged social groups. The planning is based on a concept of sustainability founded on the principles of a 2,000 watt society, where value is placed on car-free mobility, on limited housing space and on social interaction.
