The courthouse in which a major share of justice proceedings of the Amsterdam District Court took place since 2016 is currently stored in a warehouse in a disassembled state. Concluding six years of use, the six months long disassembly process began in November 2021. In the spring of 2023, the building is supposed to be reassembled again, for use as an office building in Enschede, 150 km east of Amsterdam.
