The building is located in the largest town in the Pillerseetal on a slope above the through road and is accessed from above via a side road. The spatial program of the social center includes an old people's and nursing home with 80 care places, day care for seniors with a café and a nursery school with four groups. The building is developed by subtraction from an elongated cuboid into which three atriums have been cut. This results in a meandering volume around the courtyards.
