With targeted, yet radical interventions, Buchner Bründler Architekten rehabilitated an old carriage house in central Basel. Their intention, for the most part, was to introduce daylight into the interiors. The facade windows and skylights, yet also the numerous new openings in interior walls and ceilings played a key role in the effort.
