For sixty years the Taunusanlage has been the heart of Frankfurt’s financial district. The area’s transformation – and the arrival of the American skycraper in post war Germany – is epitomised by the 17 storey office tower at Taunusanlage 11.
»T?11« was already a trend setter at the time of its construction: A general contractor was appointed, rather than individual trades, and from the curtain wall facade to the rooftop plant the tower expressed the ideals of international modernism.
