In Welschdörfli on the outskirts of Chur, the preserved foundations of two Roman buildings as well as the fragmentary corner of a third one, whose wall remains extending onto the neighbouring plot were overbuilt, received a shelter. These new shelters protecting archaeological findings are planned in the form of an abstract reconstruction of the Roman volumina: a light timber lamella frame, permeable to air and admitting light, meticulously following the course of the Roman external walls.
