Without exception, the appealing ensemble is under a preservation order as a historical monument. The paramount building, however, is the old mill garret. The handsome facade it displays may be ascribed to the 18th century, its reddish sandstone impressively dominates the little cluster of buildings. As little as possible was altered in the exterior form of the building. The original closed gates in the sandstone gable, however, were replaced by a window construction of glass and steel.
