As of the 26th September 2015, all space and water heaters as well as hot water storage tanks in Europe will require an energy efficiency label similar to that for white goods, such as washing machines and freezers. A separate label has been created to assess packages consisting of boilers and other components (e.g. temperature control system, hot water storage tank and solar collectors), which can be issued by manufacturers, wholesalers or tradespeople.
