With specifically aimed measures and a limited budget, the Copenhagen office of Effekt Architects has transformed what was formerly a deserted industrial hall into an inviting centre for street sport and youth culture that is as robust as it is nviting. This Streetmekka project on the periphery of the Jutland city of Viborg came about in close cooperation with the Verein Game non-profit-making utility, an international organization that offers low-threshold indoor activities for young people in socially focal districts.
