Less is impossible – this aptly describes the impression made by the delicate new building erected by architects Gustav Düsing and Max Hacke on the campus of Braunschweig Technical University. In 2015 they won a design competition held among the university’s academic staff. In the following years both the location and user of the new building were changed. What had been originally intended as a drawing studio building and social meeting point for the architecture faculty is now available to all students as place for study and communication.
