Commissioned by Paris Habitat, the French capital city’s largest social housing developer, NZI Architectes created 139 urgently needed student housing units on the city’s southwestern border. Hardly any aspect of the tripartite building complex is reminiscent of its prehistory: In 1972 OPHVP, the city housing development authority built an office structure here for its own staff. A while later it offered the spaces for rent.
