The skins of buildings are subject to constantly increasing demands. This has led, among other things, to the specification of ever greater thicknesses of insulation – to the point where it may pose a problem in certain situations. That applies in particular to rehabilitation work. As a highly efficient means of achieving the same results, vacuum insulation could make an important contribution in this respect.
