The function of a building isn’t always made obvious by its exterior. The surprise is particularly big when a sacred building conceals a home hidden behind its facade. Christ Church was built in 1866 in the Gothic Revival style in the London Borough of Brent. Parts of it had already been repurposed in the late 1980s. Since then the nave has accommodated 14 housing units covering about 50 m² each and distributed across two levels. The remaining interior of the church continues to offer a space for worship.
